a new capsule collection {erin gates for jill rosenwald}

for quite some time now, my uber talented studio mate designer erin gates and i have been discussing a collaboration of sorts.

we are proud to announce that the result is this striking private label collection "hatton" by erin gates for jill rosenwald!

it includes tabletop, decorative pieces, as well as  two oval lamps. and all are available in two colorways..black with peony and j crew with mint.

 right now and for the next 2 days erin's site is offering the pieces for sale to be received just in time for the holidays!  so..run don't walk.

Hudson's new shop!

our friend jill goldberg, just opened up her new Hudson store over at 12 Union Park St in the soutn end..and the verdict is in! it is so fab-u-lon!
she put hand painted english wall paper on the wall behind the front counter and made it look so modern and fresh..

Annnnddd..she brought in this new collection of "H" signature vases that we made just for her opening. (thank you elements of style for taking such nice photographs!)

the urban hound hotel

the other day after reading elements of style blog i discovered that a new hotel for dogs! opened in boston..the urban hound...and it is amazing!

look at the treats by the check in..can you stand this? is this how the modern do get's treated when mama and papa go away?

this place really is unbelievable, and it makes me want a dog today more than i wanted one yesterday.

i mean check out the amazing play area..more fun than at home..way!

erin gates or michael kors model?

the other day i happen to look out the window and see a super chic woman crossing the street towards our studio in fort point. i had a fleeting thought of, "where does miss hamptons think she's headed?..there aren't any private jets 'round here!" and then of course, i realized it was our own erin coming to work with oliver and baxter in tow. isn't she fab?

erin gates style inspiration

our new studio mate, erin gates, of elements of style fame, has fantastic personal style. each day when she glides into work, i am all over her look..trying to analyze every detai..because..girl..she has it going on. From head to toe..she is DONE. And what is fun about Erin is the fact that she has a new style message every day. It's not that she is confused about who she is..it is more of a vibe for different flavors.Kind of like the way i am about food , today Thai tomorrow Tempeh! I decided that we should take her photo every day (well at least one day a week) and she could post it on her blog for all her fans to check out her very varied looks. She had other great outfits on this week, but this was our first photo op together. Her killer cuff chain bracelet was from Ann Taylor, and I told her it was genius. The shoes were great too, so next time i will be sure to get them in the shot.
