actress to watch: greta gerwig

a couple of weeks ago lawrence and i went to see noah baumbach's latest feature. i really loved "the squid and the whale" and so i thought i would go to see his latest. i am no ben stiller fan-atic, though i have seen him do some funny bits, and i do realize he is a megastar..this thing was way way too uncomfortable a character for me..somehow hitting very close to home. nevertheless, the diamond in the rough here was most definitely greta gerwig of mumblecore fame(not that i know what that is really). she is shlumpy perfection here, and i am going to place a bet that she is THE next big thing.
