i am very excited to report that after much fuss i have found my new boots, and i loooove them.they are the Caleb by La Canadienne and i got them on sale at Lord and Taylor last night.
they are very me..good for walking, waterproof, a little butch, and a bit femme all mixed together.
i tried on a pair of brown ones too that featured a gold zipper and 3 golden buckles (oo fancy!) but i fear that i would have tired of all the bells and whistles very quiclkly. i know i am impossible to please, but i believe i have found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow here. wish me luck!
